Whakapakari Friday

Every Friday, the Moana Radio crew head out into the community and get our Whakapakari Friday on. Most of the time this usually means we hit a park, a gym, a court, a beach or a school to complete a different challenge. This has included POUND FITNESS with Amy Finlayson, Boxfit at Bayboxfit, Around the World Badminton at Te Wharekura o Māuao, Jiu Jitsu or ultimate frisbee at the Beach.

With our trustee Personal Trainer, Jesse in tow, we have completed a few National kaupapa like; Climbing Māuao in our Gumboots on Gumboot Day, Boxing on Pink Shirt Day, as well as getting out into the Moana to promote Biosecurity in Tauranga Moana.

We believe the connection between the hauora of Te Taiao and te Tinana are closely related. So, we try to spend as much time in Te taiao as possible. Getting active, staying healthy and bonding as a team. This connects to a happy and productive workplace, and a closer team bond.
