The landlord who wouldn't rent to Maori, a car dealership who mistakenly left their racist views on the voicemail of Maori buyer, racist council members renegging deals, Hobson Pledgers, cruise ship employees dressing up as Maori. The list goes on and on...
But as frustrating and hoha as it is, What can we do to combat racism? In big and small ways? Do we confront head-on or take a softer approach? Take the time to educate or save your energy and ignore them?
